Residential & Commercial Painter

A Lead Residential and Commercial Painter manages surface preparation and high-quality paint application for homes and commercial buildings. This role requires at least 5 years of professional experience, proof of liability insurance, and a portfolio of past projects to demonstrate superior workmanship. Job Duties Prepare surfaces by washing, scraping, sanding, patching, and priming walls or ceilings.Cover floors, furniture, and fixtures with drop cloths to protect them from paint.Mix and match paint colors to meet client choices or design plans.Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray guns.Remove old wallpaper or paint when needed.Clean up tools, equipment, and work areas after each shift. Job Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred.Proven work experience as a painter.Knowledge of various types of paint and application methods.Ability to stand for long periods and climb ladders or scaffolding.Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Steady year-round work & weekly pay
